Good to know :
- Not concerned by the Eckert law: Assets from State loans, PTT bonds, Treasury bills, savings bonds, bearer bonds, mortgage loans and perpetual annuities (through bearer securities) are not transferred to Caisse des Dépôts.
- Caisse des Dépôts is not authorized to stop the bonds after a loss or theft or to destroy them. Indeed, it is not subject to the Insurance Code. As the funds from inactive bonds are now kept at the Caisse des Dépôts, you no longer have the possibility of cancelling your bonds.
